We can't talk about "would have, could haves" but I will say this though, Lil Kim's opinion of Nicki > yours and we all know how that publicity fared for Nicki. Oh and no you may not care about the publicity she recieves from the charity event she attended for Anna but there are a lot who are exposed to Nicki because of that event definitely a lot more than those who are exposed to your negative opinion of her. I brought this up because you said Anna was a non-factor. Otherwise I wouldn't be making this big deal about how Anna's opinion of her's > yours.

But Gaga is normally praised for her fashion choices. She's highly respected fashion wise specifically for her craziness for the most part. The meat dress will probably be talked about for years to come. Nicki's outfits however are just a general mess and nobody is going to even have a reason to remember them. I get what she's trying to do but she's doing it all wrong whereas Gaga has figured out how to do it right. Yeah, she's a non-factor, because the last I checked this thread wasn't about Anna's opinion vs. mine or anyone else's. I could care less what she thinks of her, so I find it a bit ridiculous that you're going "Anna's opinion >>> yours" as though that will automatically shut people up. You know how ridiculous you sound? DUH, Nicki added Rihanna for pop airplay. Nicki has a pop fanbase to cater to, and that includes trying to earn pop airplay. But that doesn't change the fact that the song has a lot of hip-hop interpolated into it. Hip-pop is a better classification. That's pretty much what Nicki is, hip-pop.

Going pop? Call me when it happens, then. She's been doing pop features since she was signed and her album was still not a pop record.
