I don't know what you're listening too because most of 4 is R&B...

And Rihanna didn't have huge success with her R&B sound. Thats the only reason she switched to pop. The difference is Nicki was HUGE on Urban & Still is, but now shes slowly transitioning to Pop. Like I said it is a good thing for her career but you can't deny that its happening.

Uh, YOU have it backwards.

Just because Nicki released ONE pop single and has had a very pop-friendly image (which, again, she had to have because of the pop fanbase she attracted with all those features), that does not mean she is a popstar utilizing hip-hop influences. She is very much a hip-hop star utilizing pop influences.

So if Nicki wants to change to POP then why is it such a big deal? Her looks evolved and? Who still dresses the same as their debut? That doesn't mean she's being an attention *****. Even when shes was underground she still was doing the Harajuke stuff. Just because it a bit more noticeable and obvious of what she's doing now doesn't mean she's trying to "grab" attention.
