That's becuase Rihanna hasn't done promo in Japan in some years, unlike Gaga
Even when she did, she never sold 600k.
Besides, Gaga didn't promote BTW until a couple of weeks after the album was released, but she still sold 184k in the first week, over 60k in the second and went Platinum after the first day of week 3.

No, I would put Adele on that list. Maybe bump Katy down a few and add Adele.
I'd say yes because her singles and albums do very well worldwide outside of the US, but her sales here aren't measly at all! She is the biggest popstar in the world right now in terms of consistency and being a very reliable pop radio staple.
Now that makes more sense.
