@Rainbows; I think HML is as close as one could get to "fame" Gaga in the vulgar department, and it's the only non-preachy, love yourself, blah, blah, blah, not too controversial song on the album that isn't HU(R2L) or Bad Kids.

HML would be as risky as I think I would go if I were releasing a single.

If PARTY ROCK ANTHEM can get spins on pop radio, why can't heavy metal lover? Or Scheisse?

They are all influenced by the industrial/grime from Germany...

I thought it wouldn't do well because it's not the type of song the public is expecting to hear from gaga, but then again neither was theedgeofglory, and this era is all about trying to change what the public expects from her I guess or push those boundaries so this song fits in the era and deserves the #1 spot.


With the video being the best video since badromance, the VMA performance, her performing the song live on tour for MONTHS NOW- it should have been no surprise how well it'll do. But you know- we get paranoid for mama monster sometimes.
