But...didn't she say on the Livestream or w/ever that the album ended up going in a different direction than what they were originally going for? I could have sworn... My body was so ready for Industrial alternative pop Kelly.

Yep, it's called poor journalism and not rechecking your sources. Guess they don't follow Kelly on Facebook where she said the album was influenced by other people now, lol.

Yea, most of the interviews were pretty much crap imo. I can't at two radio stations just forgetting AIEW. They were talking about my december like it was her last record. One station said her upcoming forth album and another one called her last album her most personal album (clearly that he was talking about my december).

I mean, it is such a honer to interview a celebrity like Kelly, google that bitch once in a while. I mean God !!

I remember before the AIEW era started she sold about 20 million albums. I don't think she sold 3million with AIEW though.

That number came from Nielsen SoundScan this year. The last number we had was from late 2008/early 2009. Every era always gives a boost to previous albums too. New fans probably went back and bought her previous albums. I know Breakaway was charting well in Europe & Asia for awhile in the past years due to many reality contestants singing songs off that album.

Considering 20 million was from 3 years ago, AIEW sold about 1.5 WW plus of course her previous albums (especially Breakaway) was still selling for reasons I stated above, selling 3 million in that gap sounds correct. It came from Nielsen SoundScan so I'll take that!!
