What do you mean? TCIII sold 3 million total iirc. Frontloaded, seeing as a third of the total was first week, but the album did have legs. It spent like 15 weeks in the Top 10, right? I remember TCIII still being a Top 10 seller in October of 2008.

Urban buyers buy albums instead of pop buyers who buy singles.

Feel embarrassed about what? He could sell a billion copies in his first week with virtually zero promo for all I care, sales very rarely correspond to the quality of an artist's music. Maybe some Gaga fans who are easily pressed over numbers care, but I sure as hell don't.
