Yeah but a performance at the moment will only boost sales a little where as if she does a few appearances in Oct and Nov (X Factor, Children in need, Jonathan Ross, Chatty man etc) her sales will be a lot higher as sales are a lot higher period.
If you are going to promote you might aswell do it at the right time. Why do you think Rihanna releases her albums in Oct/Nov every year?

She already stands up for people who are bullied and abused, it would be a great message to put across, if she sang a song like BTW or Hair.
