Overall, because of Gaga, I am really happy with the way that things turned out. I thought she was only going to win BVWAM, but she also won BFV, so ahhh! I was expecting a bunch of costume changes, but I’m really impressed that she stuck with Jo the entire time. The dedication she has is unmatched in the pop world and it’s one of the many, many reasons she’s still going to be around 20 years from now. You could tell she was trying really hard not to cry when she was accepting the award for BFV and I’m so proud that she did it. The ONLY problem I have is that her performance didn’t show off her vocals as much as I was hoping it would. Nonetheless, Gaga was, yet again, one of the only entertaining parts of the VMAs.
I don't understand why the performance did not have any effect on the song. Do people not get it??
Uh...both versions of the album have shot up the iTunes charts since the performance. Grown-ups are buying the ALBUM. She isn't one of those acts who sell singles but not albums.
