yeah but the mainstream appeal comes from the sound and vibe of the song...TGIF is kinda a fruity bubblegum song while cheers is just a song u can vibe to. When my friends hear TGIF on the radio they ask me to turn it off almost immediately.
Meanwhile...MLJ has finally gotten to me (i've owned the song since it hit itunes, but it wasn't until my run today that it came on my shuffle and i started jammin out...I haven't liked xtina in a song since marmalade

I love her in this song though even though she only has a 20 second part. Maroon 5 kills it though just a fun catchy pop song that I don't need to be ashamed of enjoying (unlike most of my pop songs
