The difference with Britney / Rihanna / Katy is that they released their remixes as chart/sales boosters during the ORIGINAL song's peak. Beyonce at least released her remix as the ONLY song...NOT a booster.

But its still not their fault that the song was a hit. Just because she released a remix when her song wasnt doing much doesnt change the fact that its still a REMIX. Im not trying to devour anybody but the reasoning that you guys are giving.. sucks, lacks morals, scruples and intelligence. She released a REMIX after there was an original song out.. DONE.

So? That wasn't the point discussed in this thread. The point was to make last minute remix just to secure a #1. I didn't see anybody mentionning Mariah Carey's remixes in this thread or Missy Elliott's.

The thread starter is talking about the corruption that happened these last months, remix are current in the music industry but this last trend of remix just to reach top spot of the charts while the original is already charting is WHAT this topic is about. And Beyoncé has nothing to do with it.

Last time I checked RTW flopped in the US and everybody was mocking saying how she will label it as a promo single and move on and better yet release a remix. But did she? No she let her song continue its fate without last desperate move. Last time I check BTINH doesn't have a single either right?

She met Gaga at the VMA they had a conversation and she wanted to have fun with her and invited her on the least radio friendly song on the album and didn't even care enough to promote it or beg people on facebook or Twitter to buy it. Ye was supposed to be on the original version of Ego but the timing was not right, before she released that as an official single, she made sure he appears in it. Just talk about the people who are mentionned in the title and in the OP, that's why some Bey's fans can be irritating, there was absolutely no need to bring her up in this mess.
