What? (You are not the only one you said it)
Like 97% of the credit is to Maroon 5! They play the song, Adam did an amazing job!
... Thank you Christina for 30 seconds of your voice! You have an amazing voice
But it's like you say "Im so happy for Jay-Z" (About the Umbrella Success)
It not shade to Christina, but c'mon! the song is in #01 and would do it with or without Christina!!

Katy just need one performance but she's non-stop on tour so she can't promote. That's why they're probably releasing a remix.

But Christina's fanbase is buying the song because of her and her 30 seconds, so you will have to deal that she is credited 50/50.

Actually her fans and all the people around the world managed to buy over 100 million albums and singles from her, so that's alot more than Maroon 5 have sold in their career.

So? The actuality is her fans didn't buy much of Bionic products and singles, nor really much of her greatest hits, while Maroon 5 has seen consistent success. We are talking about the present here. Xtina fans aren't out buying this song in that way. That'd be truly a mess they didn't buy anything she made in the last 3 years, but supposedly purchase this collaboration in masses. Doesn't make sense, nor is it true.

Anyway, yes, it looks likely to be #1 on Hot 100. They still have that video premiere they can drop in the next couple weeks, when airplay is higher. I'm also hoping they do a VMA performance for it. All the antidote to keep sales stable.
And hopefully sales push Hands All Over to Platinum.

You need to stop with these fake numbers. You are making Christina fans look bad. That was a fake information made by a Xtina stan. She hasn't sold 100 million records for god's sake

Glad the Christina stans are taking credit for MLJ's success. They've been needing a #1 since 2001.

Christina had two releases last year: Bionic and Burlesque, both albums that have sold about 800k copies worldwide and charted in the Top10 of the charts worldwide. NMT was the only "promoted" single with mediocre success. Her Greatest Hits sold about one million worldwide with a US Top10 hit. It could be definitely better, but it's not bad at all if you look at the circumstances. MLJ is produced by Shellback and Benny Blanco, so the casual buyers are much higher than on Christina's singles, which are not pruduced by "It" producers like they are.
However, all I'm trying to say is that it's Christina's song after all too, just like her other collaborations. She won't include them in her next greatest hits for sure, but it belongs to her discography just like it belongs to Maroon 5 discography. Or do you really want to tell me that some features are valid for the featured artist's song catalogue and some not.

Didn't she? Let me guess, in reality she sold about 50 million records worldwide, altough there are sources who claim she has sold 46 million albums alone. I mean, RCA has announced in 2008 that she has sold 25 million albums. In the same year, they've announced on her official site she has sold 20 million albums and when Bionic came out, they said she sold 30 million albums worldwide. It's really hard to tell how much records or albums Christina has sold, when even her own record label conflicts itself all the time. Personally, I think she has sold about 80 million records at the highest and that's definitely not inflated. But, hey, think what you want to think, because in the end it doesn't really matter. Chill.

If MLJ flopped, they would blame it on Xtina. Now that it's a hit, they try to discredit her for it. I mean yes, I admit that MLJ would still be successful without Xtina, but whatever it accomplished now or will accomplish soon, part of that is because of Xtina. No matter how big or small her influence is on the actual performance of the song, it still contributed and should be credited. Some people act like Xtina is some random rapper tagged in a song. As much as you hate Xtina, she is a MAJOR artist and having her featured on a song is under ordinary circumstance (meaning minus the haters), is an honor to any artist who respects her talent and achievements in her career.
So you guys have to deal.

Oh of course it is her song. Just some members are being extra and claiming she is reason for it's success as if she possess such power. I don't need you to get smart with me, LMAO.

That is SILLY thinking on your part. If MLJ flopped, it'd be just another flop on her list & Maroon's of the last couple releases. No one's discrediting her from the song, but only putting across the bolded piece here.
And "Tilt Ya Head Back" & "Tell Me" both bombed featuring Christina when she was more relevant. So it's not like this is some magical feature moment. She's not Britney in both senses of contributing success and minimal collaborations.
