IWG isn't generic, but it's almost TOO radio friendly in a sense. Other artists are striking gold with un-conventional radio songs like TEOG and RITD....Britney's team almost played it TOO safe releasing IWG.

Everyone only thinks BFB would smash because it has a BEP sound. It's still a BRITNEY SPEARS single not a black eyed peas single, it's not a guaranteed smash. And all those songs you mentioned **** on bfb. Big fat bass is repetitive and just downright annoying.

They made the right choice releasing IWG.

It doesn't matter if BEP had huge hits, this is Britney Spears not BEP. BEP promoted every single at every chance from IGAF to Dirty Bit, they go to every huge show, and perform them...Britney will not. Britney will not have that same success and it's time for you to deal and get over it.

Just like if Britney released an "equality anthem" produced by Stargate, it won't be as successful as Firework, cause Katy performed it at every turn. That is what happened to Rihanna fans, "OH MY GOSH CKB will smash just like Big Girls Don't Cry"...and where did it peak, how much did it flop on radio?

If it was such a smash waiting to happen, it would be charting in the Top 1000 already.

I think they are planning to release those three songs next for this era. That would be perfect because they're my top favorite non-singles on the FF atm.

Big Fat Bass is nice but I got tired of it immediately. It could smash but Dr. Luke said it wasn't a contender so you all will DEAL and mope elsewhere.

Drop Dead Beautiful was my favorite track from FF when I got the album. I'm glad it's being considered as a single although I don't think it'll do as good as Inside Out or even Criminal.

The difference between IWG and BFB is that the BFB grows on you.

The entire song is a bunch of hooks. Of course on first listen, you say the song sucks and you turn it off.......by the third listen, you wouldn't be able to help but sing "IT'S GETTIN BIGGAH, THE BASS IS GETTIN BIGGAH."

There is evolution with the BFB...however with IWG, there is no growth. There is nothing new to the song. It's just wash, rinse and repeat until the anti-climatic ending.

And I Wanna Go is JUST as repetitive if not MORE repetitive. The chorus is a stuttering chant and at least the BFB has a bridge. Not to mention the BFB would have had a radio edit.
