GGGB wasn't named "LOUD" tho.. Not my fault it failed to live up to it's expectations. Unlike GGGB.

LOUD represents, like Rihanna herself said, an attitude and a sassiness that comes with that attitude and every song on LOUD definitely represents that, please take an infinite amount of seats.
I'm not here for your constant LOUD bashing
BTW Navy, Rihanna's character in Battleship is called Raikes

LOUD has artistry to an extent but it lacks concept. Critics agree.

I actually do love Shut Up and Drive, one of my favorite tracks off GGGB, and one of the only songs from that album that I still listen to religiously. I love it.
OMG. MY 1000TH POST.

The songs on Loud are anthemic in their own right, imo. Each track is confident and bold. They're easy to relate to and connect with, universal.

And GGGB did?
What about Umbrella, Sell Me Candy, Question Existing, Say It, or Hate That I Love You tell the story of a good girl going bad?

That represent the Good Girl (young & naive) side in love before going into transition. GGGB the song spilled that tea already.

Easy for a good girl to go bad
And once we gone (gone)
Best believe we've gone forever
Don't be the reason
Don't be the reason
You better learn how to treat us right
'Cause once a good girl goes bad
We die forever

Receipts from an respected source please?
LOUD follows a concept all through out it, from the artworks to the music to the lyrics, it's no secret.

I loved the transition of GGGB to Rated R, she said she was a Good Girl Gone Bad and she really did turn into a badass bitch

Sorry guys and girls, there aren't many albums around that can boast having songs as good as Umbrella, Don't Stop the Music, Shut Up and Drive, Rehab, Push Up on Me, Breakin' Dishes, Good Girl Gone Bad, Question Existing and Disturbia.
And I don't even like Hate That I Love You, Take A Bow and If I Never See Your Face Again that much, yet I still think they're more accomplished at what they are than most of Loud and Rated R. And whilst the other GGGB tracks are truly filler to me, the killer stuff more than makes up for it.
Can't say the same for Loud. Two killer singles, one good single and one AMAZING song that wasn't even included on the album (but so many people add it to their iPod playlist I will consider it part of Loud) does not an album make.

Not to mention it made sense, showed growth and it flowed. All things LOUD lacks.

Not too much on LOUD. It's the catchiest album I've heard in a long time.

Incorrect. That is a cop-out and a weak attempt at defending your argument of Loud not fitting it's theme. The album was called Good Girl GONE Bad. As in the past. She already went "bad". Your argument is invalid. Some of the songs on the GGGB album don't fit the overall theme, point blank.
If that's the case, then Fading, CKB, LTWYL2, etc., are the representation of before she got "LOUD".

The 4+ million, soon to be 5, don't agree with that statement

CKB moves up from #47 to #37 in this weeks Billboard Hot 100 making it Rihanna's 24th top 40 single, soon to be platinum in the US, made top 10/5 in several international markets. Flop? No Sir.
Now let Cheers SMASH for daaays like it should!

Yet GGGB still manage to stay cohesive and more critically acclaimed than LOUD. Such a shame even with it coming after such a critically acclaimed album such as Rated R and producers trying to match it musically with thriller. It still failed to beat GGGB in almost everything. Sales,Hits, Critcs, concepts and etc. LOUD will always remain the lessor.

LOUD could sell 10 millions albums but it still won't match up to Pop Classic GGGB. The album that produced countless memorable hits and a song that is on Rolling Stones 500 Greatest songs of all time list.
