That's fine I'm just not here for statements like "Stylistically Gaga was better in cheap clothes on a Ice Cream truck then she is this era." that's just completely wrong and since you admitted that you don't stan for her anymore how would you even know about Gaga's style this era? From a few quick snap shots of her that you then imprinted on the entire era?

Again, the cheapness of the clothes is irrelevant. I'm just saying that the brightness and the fun is much more Gaga to me than this overly-calculated look.

Just because I don't stan for Gaga anymore doesn't mean I don't visit a ton of music sites and constantly see pictures of her outfits from this era. It feels extremely fake and contrived now. I miss The Fame when she was still high fashion that was still fun and felt like Gaga. This Born This Way look doesn't make sense to me simply because I think that The Fame era was so much fun that IT should have been the look for Born This Way. This era is supposed to be about freedom and self-adoration and The Fame era's look evoked that so much more than the current one.

And I guess I got nostalgic because I meant the fun in and the idea behind the outfit was what I liked more than this current era's looks, not literally what she was wearing.

sometimes fashions have to match with album theme too.

TF = joyful, party + clubbing songs = high fashion
TFM = darker, monsterous = more monster-epic look .. i don't know how to describe this..
BTW = seriousness, self-expression = more mature looks and clothes

BTW is also about freedom and self-adoration so I think the era could be happier.

Also, Beyonce's 4 is a perfect example of how to have a serious album yet still not have a dark, depressive image. That's more of what I wish Gaga had gone with. Like The Fame matured stylistically.

The Fame embodied the theme of a pop star, The Fame Monster was all about your fears and the monsters inside you, and Born this Way is about the beauty and freedom inside of everyone. You probably liked The Fame era because it was all so typical and average.... there was nothing unique about her style back then except for the occasional hairbow or small accent. She was being just like everyone else in a sense.

She has also always dreamed of wearing archived Versace, so she is only strengthening the message of Born This Way: live out your life in the way that makes you happiest.

Excuse me? I didn't like The Fame era because it was basic or anything, I just liked The Fame era because I liked HER then. The music was **** then compared to what it is now, but at least Gaga had fun! Now she is the complete opposite of the girl I fell in love with and that's why it is so hard to like HER anymore.

She still does have fun. Just because she isn't the typical party chick that she dressed as during the Fame doesn't mean that.... I can't.
