Exactly. It totally depends on the wording...and meaning behind it. I just think when someone says "I don't date ___" I find them a little...off because they are being judgmental off the bat. But if they reworded it like "I don't date ___ because I never found one that has my likes" or w/e, that sits better with me.

But honestly though even though I'm not that dark I'm still not light skin. No one in real life has said it, but when I see people say "I don't date dark skin people." that kinda hurts a little and I know other races problem feel the same way so in a way I feel like people shouldn't say things like that. I mean I really don't care, but at the same time it kinda makes me feel like people find me inferior to others. Even though I know I **** on the world and don't you forget it.

I feel kinda hypocritical though, because I wouldn't date someone who's obese. Or someone with an IQ less than 70.  But I'm just gonna tell myself that ain't the same thing.

Since when does something have to affect someone personally in order for them to form a negative opinion about the person or the situation? There's a lot of **** that goes on in the world and to other people that doesn't affect or harm me in any way, but I still get upset about it. I guess some of us have morals and some don't.
As for wishy washy, from artists to people on ATRL, take your pick.

Damn, I know how you feel. My gf is white, and she has no problem dating black men, because she's obviously dating me. But in the summer time, she is always like "I want you to buy a skin peeler because I don't like dark men" and I just find it a little mean that even though she knows me very well, she would still say such a thing

I understand having standards but some of you need to wake up and know now is not the time to be picky, I liked alot of boys down the street and now they all in jail.

Actually I do feel kinda hypocritical when you bring that up. Like, no matter how much I like a person, I don't think I can date a mentally retarded person...because I just...idk. It's kind hard to explain, but that's probably the only time when I would say I wouldn't date ALL of a specific characteristic.

But if there were a VERY special situation where someone never made their racism obvious then why would it matter? If they never treated the race that they disliked with any disrespect or ever harmed them, then I don't see why there's a problem. But whenever someone starts to treat the race they dislike with disrespect or harm the race they dislike, THEN we have a problem. BUT if they didn't, then I don't see how there's a problem.

By the way, When someone says "i don't date 'ABC' race" it means just exactly what it is meant to mean, That they don't desire to be with that race for what ever reason.
Which in a sense is racist, Discriminating against a races looks.

Actually I don't feel anything. it problem bothers me for a second and then I keep it pushing and say your lost, but it kinda gives me an insight inside peoples minds.
