It took me until S&M was released as a single to get into it. I thought it was a mess at first and was my least played off the album.

I also didn't realize how much I loved Good Girl Gone Bad (the song) until a few months before Rated R came out. Now it's probably in my Top 20 Rihanna songs of all time.

and those songs include Fading, CKB, and Skin, and Firebomb and Cold Case Love. I had always preferred her uptempo stuff and no the ballads, but one day i just gave them all a listen and fell in <3 lol

FB and CCL are the best with Skin at third. AMAZING songs

I never really listened to what Rihanna was saying, and when I realised this bit;

I just wanna set you on fire so I won't have to burn alone, then you, then you know where I'm coming from, fire bomb.

And also the entire 2nd verse is just amazing. Fire Bomb is definitely my example of a Rihanna song that took me ages to love.

Somehow, I knew just by the title when the tracklist came out that Fire Bomb would end up being my favorite.

Although I remember I was expecting an uptempo dance track about cars, like Disturbia meets Shut Up and Drive.
