They messed up Spider-Man. There's a lot of potential, backstories & internal/external conflicts that could actually make the films more thought-provoking. They tried to do that with the 2000s reboot but failed.
Do you all remember the villain that was a like a thin, red version of Venom? Who was that? They should focus on that villain for the next movie.

I always do. Maybe that's why I like superhero movies so much.
X2 is basically one big gay metaphor with the "coming out" scene and the conversion therapy. The director of the first two X-Men films (Bryan Singer) is gay.
Sometimes watching X-Men movies I cringe thinking this **** is even too gay for me.
I'm not being self hating just it comes off really campy? Is that the right word?
