I think more than anything, we have it right in this case. People who originally came to Gaga were captivated by her dance music. Now is just not the time to release her first ballad when she needs to create interest in her again. That is best done by her dance music.
Yoü & I went to top 10 because she performed it for a YEAR + don't forget the Oprah factor.
They followed RITD with TEOG, how well did it do? ****ing amazing? Hell no, so why are they coming with another ballad-ish song? What the **** are they thinking? Yoü & I after TEOG? Before VMA's? In summer?

The only REAL success that Judas saw was YouTube views (what Gaga is best known for, her music videos which is an entire set of her dance music + her fun dances + visually appealing material + fashion) and the #1 on the Dance Club/Electronica charts.
Why should she go ahead and release a single that doesn't fit the group of people who support her the most strongly, and even more when she has no momentum to support the song itself.
You and I is the wrong choice right now. End of story.

She just did TEOG which has 'slow parts' already for 'dance music' and all... This was broadening her audience (HAC and stuff). While You and I is obviously more aimed at other than her fanbase. Doing that too often might loose older fans and do not as good as a single.

Also, I'll write paragraphs or essays if I'd like. I'm passionate about my girl Lady GaGa and I want her to do well. I can only express what I honestly think about the situation at hand. I could be right and I could be wrong.
Either way, it's all a result of how much I love GaGa.
