I think Scheisse might be it, because she talks about living halfway between reality & fantasy at all times and recently described that song as such - that's one reason. Another reason, is that I think Yuyi being a mermaid but overcoming her "condition" and defying the odds would be a good theme for Scheisse that I can see fitting as a theme for female empowerment.

A mermaid could fit. Ariel, or Yuri rather, could be missing her homeland and so decides to "marry the night", thereby leaving behind her human life and becoming one with the ocean.

I can see it. She leaves a filthy night club crying and running throught nightlit New York city streets, eventually making her way to the Brooklyn Bridge. There, on the middle of the bridge, she strips off her clothes sporting nothing but pasty's, and dives elegantly into the water. Existing somewhere between reality and fanatasy.

Agree with Scheisse - I don't know why every stan thinks it'll smash. No Gaga stan poll saying it should be the next single and will smash will tell me otherwise.

My problem with Hair is that it sounds like it came straight out of a middle schoolers journal ("I want lots of friends who invite me to their parties"), and she may have gotten away with a cheese-filled song with BTW but I doubt she'll get away with it twice in one era.

I used the word "might" .. so not necessary for Scheisse to not smashing on radio, or MTN not shooting to the top on itunes.
