As much as I'd love to say that we will.. it's not
that likely. Last night we went to around 500 views (if I remember correctly), today is day 3 and we're almost at 4000. A thread is taken off the chart when it's 7 days ends, so the #1, currently at 27k, is going to fall. That same thread happens every week- so a new thread should start tomorrow, where it will likely skyrocket to the top during it's week. Our next contender, at 2 days, is Beyonce's music video thread, which 14.7k views, we're still 10k less, and that thread is a day longer than us, and it's still climbing in #'s (though we're going faster.) With only 4 days to go, the only thing that could spark a #1 is if we start the first assignment today as well as member voting, which will cause people who haven't been to this thread yet, to come, comment, and earn us an extra view.
But, I must admit that top 3, or at least 5, is very likely. But that Mediabase thread will likely be #1 as it usually is, Beyonce's music video thread will still remain top 5, the Kelly Clarkson song thread, 1.7k views less than Bey's..
You know what, why am I even typing this?
We're going to be close but it's possible we might not make it. That's all. But it'll be fine because we started out a little slow but now we're catching up quickly. If we can maintain this then we'll be there before the Mediabase thread this week.
