Just got back from the San Jose show. HOLY ****! Britney just slayed me so hard. I cannot lie: I did not go in with very high expectations. (My love for Brit is everlasting, but I went to the Circus Tour and the GMA concert in San Francisco, so...) And yet, on every level, she blew me away. Britney was excited, happy, engaged and into the performance--just like she used to be. Her dancing, for the most part, was on point and a million times better than it has been in years. There may have still been a lot of arm choreo and a lot of walking around the stage, but there were also a number of great dance breakdowns (plus she killed "Slave 4 U"). And the live singing! Oh my god! It was iffy at best, but I didn't care at all. I know it's the way things are supposed to be at a concert, but as a hardcore fan who stuck with her through the worst times of her life and career, it seriously meant so much to me. Britney is improving, and she cares, and she wants to be great again. I could not have asked for a better experience: a jam-packed, exciting and, most of all, fun show, truly centered around and by Britney. (And Nicki was the icing on a delicious cake.) I'm still elated right now...
Didn't Australia give her trouble during the Circus tour? Hopefully they will be more welcoming...plus she's singing live now!
Yes, one reporter/news media said people walked out, but that was confirmed a lie. There was the lip-sync "debacle", but now that she's singing live & incredibly better than The Circus, there should be no problem. Plus they buy her music hard there.

Remember Gimmebritney is that flop fan site that is generally 95% incorrect. Never forget "Shh..It's A Secret".
They've given stans exclusives to SEVERAL Britney projects including the Singles Collection, Australian leg of the Circus Tour, etc. They have connections to Sony in Australia, so they provide stans with the little info they can pry out of their source. I'm inclined to believe them 73% of the time.

Yeah, the Australian press was really bitchy but as Foxay said Britney made ALOT of money from the Australian dates!
She made like 20 million while in Australia, which is damn good.

The press from one out of the fourteen concerts bashed her for the lipsyncing and claimed large amounts of people were walking out the concert. PLEASE! People that were at that concert said it was blown way out of proportion. A few people left the concert upset and local news stations interviewed, then things spiraled out of control. Less than 10 people leaving the show turned into hundreds, ****** journalism at best, but it is what it is. Ticket prices went up even after the incident. There were several Australian stans who enjoyed themselves, but their enjoyment was ignored because angry customers is where the story is at.
so can somebody please tell what's with the discount thread about the Femme Fatale Tour? I won't be bothered to click on that and read the haters dumb replies
