I'm going to agree that TOTGA plays on a lot of the same feeling that LFN seems to be filled with. It's also not nearly as catchy as LFN. Peacock is obviously catchy, but I sort of feel like it's more of a novelty than a full-fledged single. I think Katy would benefit more than any other artist right now from a re-release with a big collab, but I'm sure she could end this era just as successfully after LFN.

That's a good idea! Or a TOTGA duet with Bruno Mars.
Let's discuss what the 6th single should be or should she end this era..

I say release a big, big song like the Rihanna collaboration or end the era.

I feel like the 6th single will end up being Dressing Up.

They should remix "Hummingbird Heartbeat", then either re-release the album or end the era. I don't want her to pull a Fergie and ruin her beautiful run of hits. I'm glad they scrapped the "Peacock" release.

One's an uptempo about partying and having a good, carefree time whereas the other is a slow/mid-tempo Anti-Teenage Dream, about lost love and a broken heart? >_>
TOTGA is a perfect era closer IMO. It's like waking up from the Dream and realising that part of your life is over and you can never go back to it, no matter how much you wish you could. The complete opposite to how the era opened where everything was perfect and Dream-like.

Here is a ranking of Perry's top 10 most-downloaded songs, release-to-date, according to SoundScan:
4.908,000, "Hot N Cold"
4,862,000, "California Gurls"
4,488,000, "Firework"
4,063,000, "I Kissed a Girl"
3,940,000, "E.T."
3,747,000, "Teenage Dream"
1,994,000, "Waking Up in Vegas"
928,000, "Thinking of You"
882,000, "If We Ever Meet Again" (Timabaland featuring Katy Perry)
401,000, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"
Expect "Friday" to quickly and sharply roar up this list, as the song is currently No. 1 on the iTunes store's ranking. It should blast from No. 31 into the Hot 100's upper reaches next week, as its eight-minute video - sporting cameos from Rebecca Black, Darren Criss, Corey Feldman, Kenny G, Debbie Gibson and others - has racked 15.6 million YouTube views in less than a week since its posting.
