People like Taylor Swift have received more haters with more fame, & people worry about overexposure, yet she still sees success. Speak Now would still be selling greatly if her promo team wasn't a mess & dissolved her promo after the holidays. The sales are still great, a triple platinum follow-up to a 6-million seller is something to be proud of. GaGa has been going for almost 3 years straight & overexposure has not touched her, her album is still selling & TEOG is going to become one of her most remembered hits, She wouldn't be causing controversy if people thought overexposure was seriously affecting her.
Rihanna will never be overexposed. If she hasn't been by now, she will not later.

Exactly. I think it's less about the artist and more about the music nowadays.

8 would be more like an EP, though, and I don't want that. I think iit really depends on what they come up with. We need the best of the best.

Her annual releases are always bittersweet with me. I always want songs to become singles (Te Amo, Complicated, Cheers, Skin, Photographs, Breakin' Dishes, Push Up on Me) but I always come to be thankful later on that she moved to the next project, because I fall in love with those songs and could never imagine life without them.

My gay friends hate Rihanna now. They see her as a product. They also see her as sexist and homophobic.

How? She is neither sexist nor homophobic. She supports gays, straights, men, women, etc.

Rihanna has failed to speak out against gay rights abuses in her home country of Barbados. Her record label, Def Jam, has a history of promoting homophobic acts. Rihanna is part of the homophobic fabric that is represented by Def Jam.
Her fake lesbian image is also insulting to gay people.

I think people are getting sick of Rihanna. All my gay friends don't like her anymore. They think she's over-exposed. They also think she's a fake.

Claire Bear,
The truth hurts? If you think the truth is grounds for censorship, you are truly misguided.
I don't resile one iota from what I've said about Rihanna. Not one iota. If my gay friends are saying they don't like her, I'm entitled to pass that on to you.
All in all, the first word that springs to mind when thinking of Rihanna is "fake". Fake, fake, fake. People are waking up to it now.
