As a stan, I don't really agree with the whole "try hard to be a bad bitch" thing she has going right now. It seems very forced at times, and it can be annoying. I don't like the fact that she's trying to be controversial this era especially, but if it makes her happy, then I'm all for it. I do agree that most women have to push the boundaries in order to be remembered. But I think that Rihanna's biggest fear right now is not being remembered, or fading away. I think that's why we're getting such "edgy" videos this era. She wants to break the rules and piss a few people off. Hopefully, she'll realize that she doesn't need to do all of that and will be herself again. I love her no matter what, and will always stan and support her.

I think she is being herself, her new self that is. But, this 'new self' at times seems to be trying too hard.
