I think the good outweighs that by allot. She can lie about anything as long as she believes it so hard and does something about it. So what if she isn't gay, shes fighting for rights. Shes fighting to make a change, that more than most people do.
This is comparable to any great political leader who had a "government hooker". Its the same as excusing JFK for what he did because he was great president
