I get what your saying, but unlike Avril (which releases video after video acting like a "punk rock chick"), Britney has had the mature image in all of her recent videos Gimme More to TTWE. I would say the last time Britney gave a "punk rock persona" was in her "Do Something" video, so I think it's perfectly fine just to act immature and childish in this video, it's not like she does it all the time.

Britney is just creating the character she thinks fits the song the best. Nothing wrong with that.
