The LOUDTour was LGOE part 2...some sets were recycled like Rude Boy and Hard...but overall I thought it was a step up from her previous tour. The production, this time around was amazing and on a different level from LGOE. Look at her entrance, the entrance was one of the greatest entrance I've ever seen. The thing that I've realized about Rihanna is that she takes things in levels. She doesn't jump from level 1 to level 7...she goes from level 1 to level 2. Rihanna is gradually improving her stage presence, tour, quality of music etc. Like all artists gradually improve, Rihanna is doing exactly that. She's not putting a lot of pressure on herself. She says that her main competition is herself. Why would she do a tour and she has no energy or puts nothing into her performances? I rather her do something that she feels comfortable with and that she slays with. She gradually pushes the barriers in her performances...and like all great performers....with time...comes improvement...and with improvement comes greatness.
There were negatives to the LOUD tour like the recycled set for Hard and Rude Boy and the WMN/Cheers outfit was a let down. Also the track list should have been more LOUD oriented. But on overall, the tour slayed, she'll make her money and be great. I loved the tour, though I've yet to attend. The videos were amazing. Her LTWYL performance shows her voice so well. She did that. Her Prince performance was just epic. Her SKIN performance blew me away. I loved it. There are more positives than negatives, so as a stan, I will point out those negatives...give my opinion, then be done with it. Then I'll focus on the many positives and be slayed by Queen Rihanna. She's an amazing performer.
