They've been cordial over the last few years. Christina sent Britney gift baskets when she had her babies, and has been nothing but complimentary over the last 5 years. I know she kinda dissed her over the VMA thing, but I believe she couldn't believe what happened with her meltdown and respects her for still making music and being in the business still.

Britney seems to be more comfortable around certain people. Christina is someone she's known throughout her entire career and they've had their moments. I think she's someone that would keep her in her comfort zone and give her the confidence to sing/perform well. I really feel if they work together they'd really be helping each other out. Christina's got the confidence and Britney's got the success.
