but she's not guilty.. i blame her company record.. we all know that this album is a 10/10 .. they couldn't manage the way you love me vid and all the buzz it made, pretty girl rock wasn't the best song of the album and picked some charts,.. that's why ONS and lose control should be #1's

Keri was never going to be a superstar ala Rihanna, Beyonce & Katy Perry etc. I don't get why the stans are always blaming record companies, poor single choices, lack of promo etc. Some artists were never meant to be & Keri is one of them. I sleep very well at night knowing that Keri is making amazing music and making money through other ventures. I still hope that Lose control causes chaos and mayhem on every single chart imaginable but realistically I don't think she'll ever strike the pan again and outpeak her success with Knock you down.

Keri HAS the look, her sound is perfectly OK & the promo she recieved for PGR suited her from head to toe. People are not CHECKING for Keri. Nobody is interested in her celebrity. She is boring. Her onstage charisma, whilst improving, is dismal at best. She will never be headlining her own tour and will never be a true international pop act.

Well, i think you're wrong.. Rihanna for me is a poor weak artist, she had only the umbrella hit.. then she had a super media input and everybody knew about her, i'm fed up of watching her, katy perry, beyoncé, gaga, britney... (always the same faces) on every stage, and all music blog... their life, simply is too much for plain people... they're out the earth right now.. that's why i don't like them.. And i don't want Keri to be a SUPERSTAR just like them, i want her to be known at my country, for example.
i love real people, with real music, real work, and real life ... and keri is one of them.

And yes, the record company is guilty.. they overpromote people that nowadays doesn't need publicity, because they by themselves sell too much.. they sell their entire whole life.. and the record company seem to just promote more them.. why? then the music market is only for.. 5-6 artist nowadays.
Real singers just like maryah carey, whitney houston, toni braxton... do you know that they had poor sales with their last album? WHY? ... because the lack of publicity ... that's why i blame the record company.. kerihill.. even janet jackson nowadays would have poor sales just because the media is frustrated following every single movement of bey and gaga.

Promoting dying singles.
Weird radio adds date, sending singles for only part of the formats.
Stupid Urban single thing like with ONS and BP which only hurt the singles that follow them.
Wrong timing of video releases.
Europe?WW?Everything they did outside the US?WRONG WRONG WRONG!

And finally, releasing TWYLM a video for promo and closing the door on one of the best tracks on the album and one of the best R&B songs on the album who could be as big as GYMU would have been if ever released, but guess we won't see how big both of them could have been...Such a FAIL.

So yeah, she doesn't seem alot like the big stars but it's only cuz' all of those things didn't let her build herself up to that.

If she would have played her cards right she would have been huge, esp' with her weird power in album selling, cuz' going gold and selling 300k on not alot in promo, singles and crappy decisions, well, that's alot when others don't sell even 100k and she doesn't even got a name for herself or a fanbase that she got from old times.

So yeah, we the stans can see where she would have gone and always hope she will lift herself up with right decisions cuz' the music is there.

first off im not saying she should be huge or could be huge , he music is of good quilty & her music cant even go top 10 on r& b & hip hop charts thats sad. i did & still do feel if anything her being the only r&b female out right now that she would slay those charts but she's even failing at that

i agree with this

if they had released lose control as the first single and promoted enough, that could have been her first #1 along with PGR being the second single. now far as the third single TWYLM should have been released instead of being a promo single. this would have drawed more attention to the urban crowd. I think either all of the boys, or gimmie what I want should have closed the era.

I just hope on her next album that she take control without letting the label do it. she should be able to make her own decisions along with the label. 3rd time is a charm, I hope
