Exactly! That's what people don't understand. You hear so many stories of women in the Caribbean, Africa, etc. being raped and/or assaulted because of something as innocent as a night out on the town. And the sad part is, most people blame the women in those situations. Or brush it off as a "she was asking for it"/"she lead me on" type incident. I think that's what Shontelle meant when she said it has a special meaning that she can relate with. It could have easily happened to somebody around her. And this is Rihanna's spin on getting revenge and fighting back.
