I'm sorry but no one else ever imagined her singing these lyrics:
"I notice that you got it
You notice that I want it
You know that I can take it
to the next level, baby
If you want this good ****
Sicker than the remix"
C'mon that seemed written for her... Just take your minds off of closemindedness.
I want some urban electro-pop..

MP2k is right. "Sweet Dreams" and "OMG" are examples of urban electro-pop, and guess what they have in common... they were hits. Get out of the early '00s and get with what's going on now.

IDK what you're talking about. And TIU was more like Dj Got Us Falling In Love IMO.
W.e the case is, that era is done so I don't really care anymore. We're talking about
the 5th album.
I'm sure he doesn't even know Ciara recorded "Turn It Up".
Well, "Gimme Dat" wasn't a good song or something most pop radio stations would play. It doesn't have a decent hook. Really? None of her singles in recent times have been good or catchy, tbh. :-/
are you serious Gimmie Dat SLAAAYS

And her single choices are obviously why she's flopping, I thought we all knew that. I'm not understanding where CRUNK comes in to play in any of this. You said it yourself, none of her recent singles have been strong.
This is true but it is not the only reason

That's what we've been talking about for the longest. She needs to release singles that are appealing to the pop audiences if she doesn't want this next album to be fails like her last two. She needs catchy hooks and she needs to steer away from the basic R&B sound. Her album will sell more than 99k overall for sure.
But you didn't disagree with the Britney lyrics, now did you?
and speaking of Gaga...
Theres this one song on Born This Way that has a small part that screams "Ciara".. but let's not get into this. I have a good ear when spotting what songs have Ciara teas.

And everybody in this thread agrees. What was the point of all the arguing?

I know she recorded it, and it would have mainly been a hit because of Usher. She should have released it. She would have sold more than 99k total. FACT. But that still doesn't change the fact that most of her music is still basic irrelevant R&B music.
