Well i'm glad you understand. Nobody wants Ciara to make the same 04' type tracks, she honestly hasn't been either. Especially NOT with any of her singles in the past years. I mean "Gimmie Dat" is kinda hood but that's really not what she did in 04' at all.

Well, "Gimme Dat" wasn't a good song or something most pop radio stations would play. It doesn't have a decent hook. Really? None of her singles in recent times have been good or catchy, tbh. :-/

I actually used "Gimmie Dat" as an exception so I know don't where I said it was a "big jump in artistry". I actually named ALL the songs you just ok'd. Have you actually listened to her ALBUMS or even her singles? She has NOT released a "Crunk" song since 2005.

And her single choices are obviously why she's flopping, I thought we all knew that. I'm not understanding where CRUNK comes in to play in any of this. You said it yourself, none of her recent singles have been strong.
