Neither was Kris! He had one of the best Idol debut albums ever but he was in a ****** record label, which is also currently messing up promotion for Femme Fatale.

American Idol has gone to ****. I actually like this winner somewhat, but AI will never produce superstars again. I remember EVERYONE of every country, state, race, gender, whatever used to tune in to AI. It was just a phenomenon. Now for the past 3 seasons it was like. Kris who? I mean, does ANYONE even remember Lee DeWyze winning? He flopped so badly. Where were his millions of fans who voted for him to buy his album when it came out? A mess.

They never gave Kris the time of day. I saw it coming though. And Adam was just overhyped and once it died down, people just realize what a clown he actually was.

Ugh, I love The Truth but obviously it shouldn't have been released. Before We Come Undone could have done wonders.
I'm so upset with Kris Allen's label. He's so good, he deserves so much more.

And now with David Cook's new album, does anyone aside me even know it's going to be out? His debut was amazing and it sold great, it's Platinum. But with this new album, I think he's going to flop. Although I am so hoping his fans are still loyal to him and make him sell decently and have longevity, just like what happened to his debut.

Before We Come Undone is really a good song. It could have done really well and he might get a third single out of it. Send Me All Your Angels was another decent track from him, but it did not made the album.

Yeah, it passed the 1.5M mark last year.

He actually did have a third single, Alright With Me, but Jive didn't put any effort to push it altogether despite the excitement from the fans and Kris himself. Perhaps it was to spite the fans that were right that The Truth was going to flop.

Kris' singles were clear. "Live Like We're Dying", "The Truth", "Alright With Me", and close with "Written All Over My Face". Could've seen some Daughtry success

The principle misunderstanding of the managers of the winners of Idol in the digital age is that people who vote for free are not going to be incentivized to slap down 9.99 for an album.

The only Idol I have bought an album(s) by is Kelly Clarkson. I own Breakaway & My December. Everyone knows Breakaway is a great album, & My December is an under-recognized gem. All I Ever Wanted was a MESS & features some of her most uniNspired work.

Carrie is good but she is too country for me. I should own Daughtry's first album but I don't, & their second one was a snoozer. Kris Allen's album bored me to tears, but that was to be expected because I thought he was very boring contestant on Idol. Adam Lambert was a good runner-up but his debut album dissapointed me. Besides the singles, nothing else grabbed my attention & I think he was trying a bit too hard. Lee's album was Kris Allen's album 2.0.

The only season of American Idol I watched was the one when Jordin won. Honestly, I thought that both her and Blake were amazing, so I have both of their albums.
