Why the hell she is lip-synching????
I don't care if her voice isn't great (as a matter of fact i like her voice a lot), but she shouldn't destroying her image by lip-synching .. If she was performing and using live vocals yesterday, no one would complain about whether her vocals are good or bad.. They would respect the queen even more, but when she does this, it's natural for many people not to like her... It's not that she has a bad voice, i like her voice a lot, i want to listen to it more often!! And the whole world now, would stan for her.. Wtf? rihanna hasn't a much better voice, her vocals are being supported by a backing track almost everytime, and she adds her own vocals whenever she wants to, like what happened yesterday on S&M remix, she had her mic down to her legs, and the song was keep playing.... Minaj's voice sucked, Britney's is 100 times better, and she lip-synchs?? why britney?? I hope that in her tour, some of her songs are being performed totally live, especially the ballads!! get rid of those heels too britney... now that you got the body everyone was dreaming for her, the only thing missing is her vocals (good or bad) the world doesn't care....

Britney overshadowed everyone, again. She is like Marilyn Monroe.
All she has to do is show up on stage, work it out and look sexy for 90 seconds with Rihanna...

All of the headlines from the show are about S&M, 90% of them are positive, and everyone ****ing knows why.
Beyonce gave a killer performance and received a Millennium Award after getting praised by Bono, Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand, and Michelle Obama...AND NOBODY ****ING GIVES A ****. IT'S ALL ABOUT BRITNEY ****ING SPEARS OPENING THE SHOW.
Everyone on the red carpet last night. Who were they talking about? Only ****ing Britney Spears! It was just like at Wango Tango, when the host was like "You know, there are other people here!"
Britney ****ing Spears has been sucking up everyone's spotlight for 13 years. The public and the press are CAPTIVATED by her in a way that's rivaled only by people like Princess Diana and Marilyn Monroe.

I really try to stay out of all the drama. See my post count. I'm mainly a lurker but stan hardcore for Brit. I just can't at all the people who claim to love her one moment then want to tear her down the next. I'm all for constructive criticism but being a complete douche about things doesn't help anyone. Just my 2 cents.

I understand people being upset, and I feel as fellow stans we need to UNDERSTAND why our friends feel the way they do. Quite frankly the hype and anticipation is what got us. Let's be honest, WE as fans hyped ourselves up. We expected this amazing performance and the media did their job and hyped us up.
This was Britney's first foray into a live award show performance/appearance in four years. It's baby steps. She did enough to get tongues wagging, she got some promo and the talk will be how amazing she looked and what a difference it was from four years ago.
I'm looking at this from both angles, as a fan who let myself give into the hype, but also as a fan who understand why things happened the way it did.
I'm sick and tired of people who criticize (not bash) being called bad fans or bad stans. Being a true fan, you accept the good along with the bad. You accept the high points as well as the disappointments, but that doesn't mean we're not allowed to vent or be upset when things don't go as we hoped. As I've said before, I supported Britney through the highest of highs and lowest of lows, that **** won't change. HOWEVER I can be upset with the way she's managed, promoed and the way it SEEMS like not a single **** is given to put an effort into performances or appearances. Our excuses, because let's be honest -- it's what they are, only go so far.
Clearly Britney has been "back" for a while now. Yes it's baby steps but at some point she's gonna HAVE to break it down like she did in the old days. (NOT referring to tour performances, referring to live televised performances just in case something was lost in translation.)
Again, we psyched ourselves up expecting more than what we got. The S&M performance was great. It's got everyone buzzing. She looked amazing last night. She was lucid, energetic and she had fun. She looked like she was happy to be there. Those are all positives. I hope she does another show and actually performs. I certainly won't get my hopes up anymore or allow myself to feed into the hype, but I'll support it if it happens. If she does appear and KILL IT then I'll be back to being hyped again.
My feelings don't make me a bad fan or stan, it makes me a realistic one.
