Of course the first week sales will be fine, but without hit singles the albums will tank fast.

So now you're Miss Cleo? We will see if Gaga & Bey will outsell Britney when it's all said & done.

You clearly need some tips on shading.

I listen to Clear Channel stations & they always played Judas & it's still very high on their playlists.

The only mistake i made was attributing the ban to Clear Channel radio. It was less defined than that.
Proof? Ask anyone who listens to radio, it's as if the song never existed ....

No.
I still hear it on radio, especially when it was first released KIIS & AMP *****d it & I listen to z100 on my phone & they had a Judas overload weekend. You have to remember this song got insane updates, so you can't say it NEVER existed to some people.

THIS!
BB is always expecting A LOT about Gaga due to the BIG sells of her last album and singles, so that's why they're surprising about the performance of her last singles. I remember that they predicted that Judas was gonna sell about 400k, but the end of story wasn't good at all.
BB shouldn't shade because to sell 700k nowadays is a hard work and we can see the exhausting promo job that gaga is doing to get that big week opening sales.

How many stations do you listen to? I highly doubt it was just a northern california thing, especially considering it's low numbers across the board.... All i know is that i listen to the radio at least 8 hours (continuously, and at all the "prime" hours) a day and switch constantly between 6 different stations, and i've heard Judas a total of 4 times.
People in my area, as in other GaGa fans who actually live outside the e-world have usually not heard of Judas prior to myself. I have a hard time believing the Bay area was some random anomoly.

I forgot all about how Judas was even viewed as a top contender for the top spot the week that S&M got it. A lot of people were soo sure that it would reach it too. Even I thought it could sell that much, and like you said, a lot of people were VERY surprised by its performance. Anyway, I don't really know about her first week sales, and I can't give a prediction, because in my eyes it could go anywhere from 300k-800k just way too big of a gap for me to pinpoint a more specific range. What I do know though is that these Judas, and TEOG (down to #4 and less than 50% of the number 1 song on iTunes) should open some eyes to the Gaga stans that are blinded by the greatness and invincibility that they believe Gaga has when it comes to sales and overall prominence in this industry.

Excuse me, but most of Gaga's singles pre-BTW era reached at least 3-4M sales. Am I not correct?
This year, BTW has barely reached 2Mil sales. And I don't see it reaching 3M. Judas will struggle to get to the 1.5M mark, and TEOG is yet to be determined, but it's slipping down iTunes almost as quickly as Judas did. (#4, and 45% of #1, when it was released just a week ago)
You can go ahead and believe that Gaga is doing as great with her singles as she was before. But she's not. And it's obvious. Not saying she's doing bad, but she's not doing as great as she was previously.
I can't say anything about album sales yet. But if these single sales are any sign of what's to come. Then we definitely won't be seeing another 10M sales from Gaga with this album.

People still use this strange logic?
If that were the case there would be no such thing as singles artists (people who always have hit singles, but can't sell albums).

BTW, the single - I'll concede this one, although it's still selling fairly well
Judas - blacklisted from radio, so did fine under the circumstances (don't give a **** what anyone says)
TEOG - 6 days old and selling almost entirely without radio play. Too early to predict either way.
To summarize, BTW is the only possible argument you have, an even that one is faulty as it's selling rather steadily.

I do think that BTW might come out and have stable sales at around the 15-20 position for a while longer, similar to how S&M floated around the top 10 for a good three months
And that is no argument for Judas. It was a single. Sent to radio. Promoted. It was given all the opportunities to be a smash hit and it wasn't. Nothing wrong with the song's performance though, because every artist will have underperforming singles, like I said. But you can't make up excuses and say "Oh, radio didn't give it a chance." Maybe people didn't give it a chance, because they didn't like it. Is that also an excuse? No.
I do agree that it's too early to tell with TEOG though, I'm just saying that it's having a similar first week to Judas. That's all, it could very well become her most successful single this era though.
And basically my point is, going back to my earlier post, that Gaga's current singles aren't doing as well as her previous singles. Am I wrong when I say that? Absolutely not.

I need for the BTW first week album sales to roll in so that things can simmer down around here. That's all

BTW will open HUGE, that's a FACT, anything less than 400K is not happening. But do people really expect beyonce's album to even open with over 300K, if it does be sure to use this quote and drag me and my fave in the future but im not seeing it. Isnt it getting released around june and sales arent anywhere near as good as they are in the christmas season. I see the album selling in between 200K - 300K which is fine considering the circumstances, and didnt IASF do over 400 K with 2 smash hit singles preceding it, so how is this album even gonna sell close to that with Girls flopping terribly.

Are you kidding? Born This Way is already almost to 3m and it's #12 on iTunes. It's only going to maintain/go higher in the coming weeks with the album launch publicity...
TEOG is slipping nowhere near as quickly as Judas.
