I hope not. EOG needs to be properly released in the future so it can smash, and Judas needs full attention from radio right now...


Anyway....Am i the only one contemplating whether or not to actually listen to EOG tomorrow? I've become really set on the idea of hearing the entire album (minus Judas & BTW) for the first time via the actual physical cd, meaning i would avoid leaks and promo singles. I really want to experience this album in the "old fashioned" way, especially after waiting for this long.

Anyone else?

I'm not sure Edge of Glory will get very spins on the radio.... consider how long it is. How often does radio play a 5:20 song?

I still don't understand why she's releasing "possibly her biggest hit" as a promo single. It'll hurt the sales of Judas, for sure. :/

Just because she is releasing it now doesn't mean she isn't going to release it as a single later.

Example:
"Imma Be" by the Black Eyed Peas was first released as a promo single and was then released as the fourth single from The E.N.D and peaked at #1.

God bless your strength if you can really hold out on listening tomorrow. I've lost my patience to do this. And since it's a proper release I have no incentive to try, but I commend you nonetheless.

Radio usually takes a while to cut songs. Bad Romance (4:55) is almost as long as TEOG and it was several weeks before the radio shortened it. Also, keep in mind that the radio increases the speed of all songs they play, so it's not actually 5 minutes.
