The only thing Circus promo had going for it is that it started earlier and there was more momentum because of the VMA's. The promotional line up is virtually the same one that they used for Circus the only difference being that Fatale is more domestic based, while Circus was more global.

She's been much more involved this era though. No contest. She performed one song 4 times during the promo tour for Circus (Womanizer) and then in GMA she performed the album track. She has performed 3 sets three different times on various media outlets.

No, Circus tour had more than just momentum from the MTV VMA's behind it. There was SEVERAL promo done at the start of the era-opening week for the album. Circus promo TRUMPS everything from this era, the drop-off after the release week was where the disappointment came in.

Skits- Circus era (ELLEN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>KCA)
Magazine Interviews- Femme Fatale era
Live Performances- Circus had way more performances, but FF had better quality ones.

Radio Support- Edge to Circus era, the panel isn't the same size as now
Collaborations- Femme Fatale for sure
Circus promo was extensive and brilliant...till the quit on it after the first week of December.
