I think they're definitely pushing "Till The World Ends" as far as it can possibly go. I mean, it's the right thing to do. I wouldn't want them to release a new single yet when "TTWE" is still in the Top 10 in iTunes.
Foxay brought up a good point about "Big Fat Bass," and how she performed it, but it never sold well. It makes me think twice about it being a single.
It's so hard to say what's going to happen because the album is so damn good and full of potential singles. She could have a long run with Femme Fatale, and I hope that's what Jive is planning on doing.
All I know is that "I Wanna Go" must be the third single. There is no debating it.

Yes. I'm really quite pleased with how Till The World ends is going. It is certainly deserving of a number 1. (It seems as if it's not going to happen; either way, it had a good chart run, and has a much stronger sense of longevity than HIAM).
I think if they want to maintain the momentum they've recently gained with TTWE, they absolutely have to release IWG, and perhaps it could do something for her somewhat dismal sales. (At least in comparison to Circus; it opened with 524k sales, didn't it?) I'm actually quite surprised by her sales for Femme Fatale. I think it is her most cohesive and consistent album to date. (Again, I grew up with Britney but after growing up, I only like a few songs out of each album, really. However, I love every song out of Femme Fatale, minus BFB. It's alright).

Oh, for sure. I was hoping the Remix would get it to #1, but apparently not, which is sad.
Circus, if I'm not mistaken, opened with 505,000.
Yeah, I think the early leak is to blame for the crappy sales. And crappy promo. It's sad because Femme Fatale is indeed her most cohesive album to date. I hate that her management and label ruined everything. This album had (and I guess still has, but not as much) the potential to be huge.
By the way, whatever happened to Britney's Ellen appearances?

You guys are forgetting the main reason why the album isn't selling as much as her previous efforts: first quarter release. All her albums since "Britney" were 4th quarter releases, a time when album sales are generally the highest of the year. Releasing FF during the end of the 1st quarter (along with minimal promo) definitely affected her sales.

Unfortunately, we should have had tons more promo based on that fact, but we got the same/a little less, which is totally unacceptable.
