That's actually VERY true. I've always felt like all the Pop artists out there like Gaga, Christina, P!nk, Katy, Ke$ha, Rihanna, etc. try to reach Britney's peak quality & success wise, and no one has, the only one who came close to doing it was Gaga with The Fame, but it wasn't precisely as influential, controversial, entertaining and charming. None of them have permanent prints like Britney does with Toxic, Baby, Slave & Oops.

None of y'all are in the industry, here is a hit maker who's been in the business for years & even he knows that in order to produce for Brit, your music must be progressive & experimental.

Every producer that's ever worked with her has had nothing but complimentary things to say about her involvement in her music making process.

Everybody steps their game up when it comes to Brit's music.

Anyways, i dont think she has her own genre, but musicality-wise she's always undeniably one step ahead. She was doing dance before Lady Gaga did 'The Fame', now she's moved onto dubstep with everyone else behind, soon there will be lots of dubstep songs on the charts. Just watch.

I don't think he meant as in she has her own genre per say like rock, heavey metal, but meant as like Britney music is generally diffrent, ahead of the general game and basically you can tell what song is a Britney songs. Their like custom built for her.

Excuse me to break it down to you but Britney has NO GENRE. PERIOD. POINT BLANK.

She always rides with what's hot ATM and switches it up once the era is done without adding anything from her. She has no musical personality. When you hear songs you can't honestly say "that sounds like something Britney would sing" cause that feeling sure doesn't exist.
