It would be so EPIC (and GaGa) if the video consisted of only the beginning up until the first course, interrupted by a "worthy" action /dialogue scene, and then went straight to the bridge/end of the song accompanied by some expolsive scene. Eliminate the 2nd verse and go from super long to super short videos.

The thing is, the general public doesn't care about long videos. Look at the number of views for BTW...

I honestly think the reason why it got less views is because it had an alternative. Some people don't pay for music and listen to it on youtube, the "Audio" version of the video kills the views. Its anew trend put up by Vevo/Youtube... I can promise you, if the video is slightly different than the Audio Video, then the one with most views will be the audio one.


Its a trend that is catching on,

I think as long as it flows and is cohesive, a long video can be quite entertaining. Just look at Telephone, Alejandro, Paparazzi, or any other MJ video.
