Final version will most likely be the version that's leaked. They feel obligated to say there's a "final version" to encourage people to buy the track when it's properly released on iTunes/dissuade people from downloading the leaked version.

But on the off chance that there will be a new version, I am excited to hear it.

Anyway, I'm really disappointed that I missed the excitement surrounding the leak and Britney's night out. I might have made more of an effort to get on more this weekend, but I was busy busy with friends, family, and my little niece this weekend.

I like the remix if for no other reason than the fact that it's an actual remix (kinda sorta). By this I mean there were some obvious efforts on the production front to alter the track (creating new dubstep bits and whatnot), or in other words it wasn't just an extended version of the original featuring a guest vocal/rap. That said, I think the remix still has its share of faults. A general complaint I have of most remixes of this nature has to deal with the lack of effort that's made to build some sort of connection between guest rapper/vocalist and the fact that these featured stars are not incorporated into the track to the fullest extent. Essentially, Nicki's entire presence on this track consists of an intro. "Hey, it's me on a Britney track! Ain't it neat. Ok, that was my part and Ke$ha's gonna take over this joint as soon as she gets back from the bathroom. Oh, she's here? Everyone give it up for Ke$ha." I can't help but wonder how else she could have been utilized. At the very least they could have given her a verse during the breakdown, at which point she could possibly rap something that relates to the theme of the song. Ke$ha is also underutilized, so much so that I'm left to wonder why they even asked her to appear on the track. She makes little impact singing on the chorus. That's not a critique of Ke$ha, it's a critique folks who didn't think to structure the track in a manner that might allow for Ke$ha to inject some of her signature flavor into this jam. A song this club-ready deserves a bit of the party girl treatment from the queen of the party, no? She does a fine job with her part (her delivery is not so unlike Britney's, as some are making it out to be), but were she not billed in the title and mentioned by Nicki, I would hazard to guess that most casual listeners wouldn't even be aware of Ke$ha's part of this collaboration. It's a wasted opportunity... an enjoyable wasted opportunity, that is.

I'd love a new Nicki verse, this time actually during the song, but I don't see it happening and well, maybe it would sound weird considering 'TTWE' is not exactly the type of music she does.

Well, I like the song better after I cut out the final group of 8 "whoa oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh"'s; it's kinda abrupt going from the new dance breakdown to the ohs, and I think it sounds cleaner going straight from the breakdown to the final lines of the song.

I do also think Kesha deserves a few more lines. Perhaps taking a few lines of the second verse, or joining Britney on some ohs. Just because she already wrote the song, the lines are already sort of hers anyway.
