Judas betrayed Jesus.

It is true that Judas betrayed Jesus, but right after he did that he returned the money he received from Roman officers in order to identify Jesus in public and committed suicide.
In the Last Supper, Jesus has announced that one of his apostles will betray him, so he knew what's coming, and if Judas was a bad guy he wouldn't have chosen him to be one of his 12 apostles. Judas wasn't evil, he was just weak.
Although Judas betrayed Jesus, he is an important part of Christianity as it wouldn't be complete without him. Jesus came down to earth to "die for our sins". Judas is still considered a saint.
