Even Gaga stans on this forum woke up and saw it #1 on Itunes not even realizing that it was out. If Gaga stans, on a music forum, that has immediate access to all news doesnt know that it is out then how would hype for next week be translated into sales for this week.

Becuase it was rushed and released 3 days before, but everybody knew she had a song named Judas and it was going to be released weeks before the album

don't even try to bring the success of judas down... it may not be doing as good as Born this way (duh) but it climbed to number one faster than any other song and is still there. and I won't even mention its radio updates

Everyone on music fan sites and the ones that actively follow her twitter...

No one, not one of my friends knew she was coming out with a song this week even if it was released on time. The hype she built was purely given to people that are actively searching for her news on the internet.

Like I said define Hype, because clearly nobody outside pople who search for music and are fans don't know and don't care about new releases, they see the iTunes banner and decide to buy it, but that was the same case with Born This Way

Judas's lead is great for the unexpected release, unlikes BTW release, which everyone knew about. I think Judas will increase on Tuesday tbh (just my personal prediction).

Plus, there's a hell of a lot more competition out right now than when BTW debuted.
