Have any other ****ing artist release a song with no promo, no hype, with 2 days of only digital sales and sharing AI with Born This Way... have any other artist be looked at so closely despite those odds, tell me an artist that would have people all over the world looking closely for that chance of #1. Lady Gaga is the only one that would have people looking in, that in itself deserve recognition.

There are more artists that did better in the past years. Lady Gaga should thank the social and media because of her success. And to tell you the truth.. Lady Gaga is far from Epic.
I also really doubt they leaked Judas on purpose. They honestly probably would have been better off waiting till Tuesday where they'd at least have a shot at debuting at #1 with the full week of sales. What the heck does Interscope care whether S&M goes #1 this week or Katy gets another one? Labels are not so stupid as to purposely shoot themselves in the foot just to play petty games.
I honestly believe labels do care about single peaks, being Def Jam the most evident label. They discounted Only Girl the perfect week for it to go #1 and they made a remix of S&M the perfect week for it to go #1

I like The Lazy Song but i think it isn't a #1 hit as it was Grenade or JTWYA
I think it will be a sleeper hit...it's the ideal song for sunny days where you're just loungin outside or tanning or even rolling in ur car (unless you wanna blast your ****, then you need something with a fat bass and a heavy beat )

I don't think they care a tenth as much about Rihanna/Britney not getting a #1 as they do ensuring that Gaga gets another one, which makes the rushed release illogical if it was pre-planned.

Even Gaga stans on this forum woke up and saw it #1 on Itunes not even realizing that it was out. If Gaga stans, on a music forum, that has immediate access to all news doesnt know that it is out then how would hype for next week be translated into sales for this week.
