I haven't heard BTW anywhere either, not even on the radio. Judas will be a club smash though, Bad Romance owned the clubs and this is similar in some ways...so here is to hoping.

True
Yup, luckily for me because i hate it. Yes i think it will, especially if the dancing is cool, alot of people were doing the bad romance dance in the clubs it defo helped it because the massive club hit it was here.

People need to keep there wigs on Judas is behaving like a normal single. It's less than 24hrs since the song leaked and it's so high on iTunes. I am liking this slow climb it gives me a feeling Judas is more stable.

I think you'll find that is largely due to time differences and everyone else being asleep when it was released rather than the Americans being the larger fanbase, we need some time to catch up.

But then again, look how much better BTW did here as opposed to the UK. Everyone thought that that was her stronghold, but it ended up with six weeks at number one here an didn't even top the chart there.

I love Born This Way but it is far too preachy for clubs, people want mindless fun, not a deep message. Nice to listen to not too great for clubbing.

Slow climb ?
I think only Born this way and Hold it against me was faster ( realtivley considering it's midnight release)

There wasn't anywhere near enough promo here, understandable since she was on tour but at least she was doing some stuff in the US, you guys have TV ads for music and that HBO special generating hype. We had none of that at all, it was song, video, done.

The religious theme in the songs definitely makes it more interesting. She could of written the same song about love in general, sex or clubbing, like everyone else so at least its different.

Even with a lack of promo, this is Lady GaGa for god sake. The song is shockingly STILL on the radio 1 A-list , its being played so much on all the other radio stations too and the music video is still on power rotation on the music channels, not to mention all the usual media and online attention the song has gotten. BTW really should of done a lot better in the UK.

As I said, I think it is too preachy for the club scene here and that is where her largest audience lies in the UK.

But still, you can't deny the song underperformed on the singles chart. It was still a massive commercial success though. Everyone knows this song, It's as well known as Telephone, Alejandro or Papparzzi.

I know it underperformed, I haven't once denied that. I said it has and then I gave what I believe to be the reasons why.
Judas will do much better, it's a lot more fun, it can be taken as a mindless dance song...sadly that is what people want.

Ohh sorry I didn't see that. Judas will definitely be a bigger hit because theres going to be so much promotion and performances with the album release and the records she breaks in the first week will get massive press coverage and media attention. The video will be very controversial and we can expect some outrageous outfits, antics and performances too which will boost sales even more, not to mention advertising aswell.
