I think you'll find that is largely due to time differences and everyone else being asleep when it was released rather than the Americans being the larger fanbase, we need some time to catch up.

No, even with BTW, it went #1 in America faster than any other country that also had it. I guess her biggest fanbase is here, which is odd considering 50+% of Americans are conservative.

And i agree with what bea was saying Gaga has lost some of her hype here, but once she comes here to promote she'll get it back fast, i don't think Born This Way song helped tho, with all Lady gaga previous singles people were posting them on facebook, singing them, they were getting played in clubs, I've not even heard btw in a club yet.

I haven't heard BTW anywhere either, not even on the radio. Judas will be a club smash though, Bad Romance owned the clubs and this is similar in some ways...so here is to hoping.
