I understand overall what you mean. Especially for "NYN", it definitely just cross-overed due to the Country success.. which was unexpected. "HSS", sort of, but it had great marketing. Would've blown up eventually, plus they've had hits before (Train).
"RITD" is just a hit.

It was only released in late November, and with great marketing/promotion, has steadily been going for the past few weeks. While the other two took a very long while to pick up mainstream-wise.
