I'm not being pessimistic but an artist needs an image to sell an album. Right now Britney's image is a mom who loves her kids dearly, a big contrast from what a femme fatale should be.
If she wanted more sales, a change in her image is needed to be done. Till The World Ends had a post apocalyptic theme but it's not an image. Themes are only good for tours or albums but not for an artist. And realistically speaking, Britney's FF will sell around 1.5M-2M copies without an image to back it up...
If she doesn't want an image to sell more, she needs to promote more...
