As far as pop is concerned, safe is a song simply about being in love or partying or being horny or something along those lines.

After making " No Matter Gay, Straight or Bi. Lesbian, Transgendered life" Number 1 for 6 Weeks...
Anything is safe when it comes to Gaga

Yeah. That's why I said "safe". The theme and lyrics will certainly be nothing safe. But the description as a classic Gaga-RedOne record seems the perfect track to be the lead single of this album. We all know that it would have been "safe" to release a RedOne track as the lead single, knowing what the other songs produced by him did.

I've always wondered, how the hell does Gaga's wig never falls off at the monster ball and she does all these things like:

This is Pop radio. Lyrics do not apply. All that matters is the sound, the beat, the hook, the melody. And BTW definitely had a safe, generic, sound.
If Judas sounds like Bad Romance, it would be considered safe too.

BR doesn't really sound like any other pop song I can think of in recent years... or BTW for that matter, but I suppose you'd say just go back far enough.
But yes, I agree, lyrics are generally irrelevant. Neither BTW nor BR sound like "easy smash" to me, though, like California Gurls, Tik Tok, or Just Dance.

Lyrics do matter If people know every word to the song and
are not embarrassed to sing it in public the song will only get bigger.
Meanwhile if no one knows the lyrics to a song, it will most likely not ever Go #1 because that means its lyrics are not memorable, catchy or meaningful enough for the audience to care.

Tyra is basic. GaGa chooses to promote herself on the shows that matter, such as the queen of talk show & television media Oprah Winfrey's world-famous, record-breaking talk show. Whatever will we do without that promo spot available for us?
I went to the doctor today & Tyra was playing on the TV in the lobby Her show is terrible.
To show what school is really like in real life, I had my young guests go to a fake school with fake students, inside a studio

The country version of Lady Gaga's smash hit "Born This Way" has become such a viral sensation since being released through her Twitter page that she has decided to officially issue the track for sale with a portion of the proceeds to benefit charity.
