I think Britney and her team are no dummies and have known that without the hype that Circus had and without promo to make up for it they would not pull Circus numbers.

It's not like she's about to flop. She is just missing unrealistic expectations from fans and critics.

We will have to see how future singles play out and how much longevity the album will have.

promotion is fine, it's the quality of the album. not even the album, but the second single. they decided to rely on infectious "oh"s from kesha and well here is the result

It's not like the rest of the album is full innotive avantgarde pop music.

I hope they take a chance on single nr. 3 and release Big Fat Bass, which I hated at first but completely fell in love with.

I think this is what Britney needs, a grower single.

I don't think it's the lack of promo..it's obvious britney is losing her power. her performances are bad, her songs are too much of the same, dance all over again, she's not trying something different. the real fans will buy her album but i think random people might have given up on her. it sucks for her but i really lost my love for her, after watching her GMA performance i was done with her, i wanted to get her album but she dissapointed me so much. if you're going to lipsync at least try harder with the dancing!!

sorry brit, i hope the 300k is going to be the number she will sell because it's not like her current music & performances deserve a higher number, but i think she might push beyond 350k..it's still britney spears we're talking bout of course..

Wiz's sales will most likely be frontloaded. I can see him performing similarly to Kid Cudi or Lupe Fiasco. I don't feel his hype is as big as many people say. I do think he will outsell B.o.B and Kid Cudi, but his album won't be a platinum selling success. I could be wrong tho.
